Ram Gopal Varma's "Sholay" has been in the eye of the storm from the beginning with many upset with him for remaking the cult film, but new Samba Sushant Singh says it is silly to pass judgment without seeing it.

"You can't stop anyone from anything. Why should you not remake a film? Everyone's doing it and I don't understand the logic behind 'not' remaking films," says Singh.

"It's much bigger and better than the original Samba," is all Varma's Samba is ready to reveal.

"Even I am an ardent 'Sholay' fan. I think those who are against the film should not see it. It's as simple as that. It's silly to sit and pass judgment. In my opinion, there's nothing like 'right' or 'wrong'."

Even the indefatigable Ram Gopal Varma seems unfazed by the flak he's received over his latest film, reports Bollywood Trade.

"Ask Sushant Singh how happy he is to be playing Samba. In the earlier 'Sholay' it was a three-scene role. Now Samba is crucial to Gabbar's plans," Varma was quoted as saying in an interview.

Sushant's forthcoming films include Mani Shankar's "Mukhbir", Mahesh Bhatt's "Showbiz", a film based on kickboxing tentatively titled "Lahore" and a children's film.
