Bollywood producer-director Prakash Jha today said the shooting of his next venture 'Raajneeti' (politics) would begin from January end next year. Jha, who was in the steel city in connection with his proposed Rs 50 crore multiplex complex project here, told reporters that his new film would be based on "his understanding of democracy in the country". Regretting the "ugly" scenes in the state assemblies and Parliament, Jha claimed the "downfall" of democracy began since Independence. Replying to a query, Jha said that in view of present day politics, "It appeared that Indian democracy was feudalism under the garb of democracy".
