It had happened with Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee and Vikram Bhatt's Aetbaar. Both films starring Amitabh Bachchan were released on the same day. Guess history will repeat itself once again. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Eklavya and Ravi Chopra's Baabul are to be released on the same day–December 8 this year. Looks like there will be a clash. Trade pundits had reportedly warned the filmmakers that two films starring Amitabh Bachchan will only land up eating into each other's business. But the directors have zeroed in on the date and plan to stick to the decision of releasing the film on that day. Strangely Abhishek Bachchan starrer Guru reportedly based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani will hit the theatres two weeks after the Bachchan release. From that point December surely seems to be a crucial month for the Bachchans.
