An unlikely romance between Bollywood actor Rahul Bose and screen siren Mallika Sherawat sparks comedy in a movie about the classic battle of the sexes, says producer Pritish Nandy. Nandy said that the chemistry between the mismatched couple powers the soon-to-be released movie ``Pyar Ke Side Effects''. Bose plays a disc jockey with whom Sherawat falls in love, but Nandy - who described the movie as ``witty, clever and subversive'' - did not reveal more details about the plot. ``It tells you why men are men and women are women,'' he said. ``What makes it special is that this love story, set in modern times, has the most impossible on-screen couple of Rahul and Mallika.'' Sherawat is known for her scantily clad appearances on and off the screen. Her movie debut ``Khwahish'' shocked Indian audiences with a record 17 kissing scenes. Most of the 16 movies Bose has acted in are English-language Bollywood movies in which he plays strong, character roles. ``They make the most enchanting twosome -- mismatched, combative and very special,'' Nandy said.
